Remarketing or "similar target groups" function of Google Inc.

This website uses the Google AdWords remarketing or "similar target groups" feature of Google. This function is used to overlay product recommendations and interest-based advertising targeted to users of our website and other users with similar interests based on their online user conduct, when the users visit other websites in the Google display network or carry out Google searches. If our advertisements are overlayed on these websites, we are transmitted information regarding the visits to such websites; for instance, how often our advertisement was viewed, how many clicks and visits were generated through a specific advertisement and what content was retrieved after clicking on an advertisement on our website.

An analysis of online user behavior forms the basis of this interest-based advertising. Google uses cookies to perform this analysis. Cookies are small text files that are generated by a web server and are stored on your computer by means of the web browser that is used, while you visit a website in the Google Display Network or a certain Google service. These cookies contain information regarding your last visit or regarding the settings of your browser, such as the language settings.

The cookies are used for capturing the visits to the website by means of a unique identification of a web browser on a specific computer, and are not used to identify a person. All data are stored using a pseudonym, such that any inference to the identity of the user, and thus any personal identification, is not easily possible.

You may disable Google's use of cookies by accessing your advertising preferences and accordingly giving effect to the opt-out. Alternatively, you may disable the use of cookies by third-party providers by accessing the deactivation page of the Network Advertising Initiative and giving effect to the more detailed information regarding the opt-out set forth therein.

Porsche employs technical and organisational security measures to protect your data that we administer against random or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with developments in technology.

Rights of affected persons

On request, we will provide you with written information on whether, and if so which, personal details about you are saved at Porsche. If you are registered as a user for Porsche login, you have the option to inspect your details yourself, and to amend or delete them as required. If, despite our best efforts regarding the correctness and freshness of data, false information is saved, we will inform you of this at your request. You can revoke your future consent to store your personal data at any time by sending us a brief message.

If you have any questions regarding the processing of your personal details, suggestions or complaints, you can also contact our group executive for data protection.

Integration of third-party content

In some areas of our website, there are so-called "hyperlinks" to websites of other providers. In such cases, you are redirected from our website directly to the website of the other provider. You can recognise this, among other things, in the change to the URL. We can assume no responsibility for the handling of your data on these external websites, since we have no control over whether these companies adhere to data protection regulations. For information regarding the handling of your personal data by such companies, please refer directly to their websites.

Social plugins

In some areas of our website, so-called "social plugins" of social networks, such as Facebook, Instagram, Google +, YouTube, Twitter and Pinterest, are used. The plugins can be identified by the logo of the respective social network.

As soon as you visit a website with an enabled social plugin, your browser will establish, through the social plugin, a direct connection to the servers of the particular social network and transmit data regarding your visit to the social network. Even if you are not a member of one of the social networks, there is a possibility that, through the social plugin, such social network will find out certain data, such as your IP address, and perhaps save such data.

Therefore, the social plugins on our website are disabled by default. To use a social plugin, you must enable it by clicking on the corresponding button. As long as the social plugin is not enabled, no data will be transmitted to the social network. After activation, the social plugin connects to the servers of the social network, and will remain active until you disable it or delete your cookies (regarding this, see "Cookies"). With the activation, a direction connection with the server of the particular social network is established. The content of the social plugin is transmitted from the social network directly to your browser, which incorporates this into the visited website. As such, we have no influence on the scope of the data collected by the social plugin.

For more information regarding the purpose and scope of data collection along with the further processing and use of data by the respective social networks, your rights in this regard along with the setting options to protect your privacy, please refer to the notices regarding data protection of the social networks.
